Dani began her dance training at the age of 2 at Dancing Plus in Raymore, MO, where she continued on to dance competitively. She was captain of the Raymore-Peculiar Prowlers Varsity Dance Team, where she placed at both the state and national levels. Upon graduating high school she attended The University of Kansas where she earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Anthropology. While at KU she choreographed and performed several works and served as the Vice President for the University Dance Company. Dani has studied ballet, pointe, tap, modern, jazz, musical theater, hiphop, tumbling, African diaspora, and Classical East Indian. After graduation she moved to Washington state for a few years and continued her dance education by taking master classes and intensives with several companies such as Limón Dance Company, Martha Graham, Coalescence, and Dance Undercurrent, among others. She has had the opportunity to perform at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, on cruise ships and at several dance festivals across the country. In addition to dancing, Dani proudly serves in the Kansas Army National Guard. With over 15 years of teaching and choreographic experience, working with various studios and teams in the Kansas City, Lawrence, and Puget Sound areas, Dani looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with everyone here at TNS!
